Job summary

PM Consulting is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to provide senior-level process engineering expertise across development, design, execution, commissioning, and operation of water and wastewater projects. The role focuses on ensuring treatment processes are technically sound, fit for purpose, and capable of achieving capacity, quality, efficiency, reliability, and performance targets.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
8–15+ years of process engineering experience, preferably in water/wastewater treatment or related facilities.
Strong experience with process design, PFDs, P&IDs, mass and energy balances, and process calculations.
Experience reviewing EPC deliverables and working with contractors, technology providers, and project teams.
Proven ability to troubleshoot, optimize plant performance, and support commissioning and start-up.

Responsibilities

Develop and establish process design criteria and the basis for water and wastewater projects.
Review PFDs, P&IDs, mass and energy balances, and equipment datasheets.
Evaluate treatment technologies and configure processes to meet capacity and discharge targets.
Support commissioning, start-up, performance testing, and plant handover.
Provide senior technical guidance and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
