Job summary

Whiteplane, Inc. seeks a Visual Merchandising Manager to develop and implement the company’s visual merchandising strategy across stores. You will ensure displays, layouts, and brand executions reflect standards while maximizing customer engagement and sales performance.

You will collaborate with Sales, Operations, Marketing, Merchandising, and Area Managers to ensure effective VM guidelines across all stores, lead a VM team, and travel to locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Visual Merchandising, Fashion Design, Marketing, Retail Management, Interior Design, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in Visual Merchandising, preferably in footwear or fashion.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience managing VM teams, store rollouts, and projects is required.
• Proficiency with design/presentation tools is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement visual merchandising strategies aligned with brand objectives.
• Oversee store layouts, displays, fixtures, signage, and promotions.
• Ensure brand standards and visual identity across stores.
• Plan VM concepts for openings, renovations, launches, and campaigns.
• Conduct store visits and audits to monitor VM execution.
• Analyze store presentation and customer behavior to improve sales and experience.
• Coordinate with Sales and Operations on VM timelines and requirements.
• Work with brand principals and suppliers on guidelines, materials, and fixtures.
• Manage VM projects, budgets, timelines, and resources.
• Lead, coach, and develop the Visual Merchandising team.
• Prepare VM reports and presentations for management.
• Monitor retail and VM trends and introduce innovative concepts.
