Job Description: Visual Merchandising Manager

About the Position

As the Visual Merchandising Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing visual merchandising strategies that showcase our products in an engaging and aesthetically pleasing manner. Your creativity and strategic approach will contribute to the overall brand experience, driving sales and brand loyalty. Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the visual aspects of marketing initiatives, pop-ups, and brand activations.

Responsibilities:

• Visual Merchandising Strategy
• Develop and consistently update as needed a visual merchandising strategy that aligns with the brand's image and business objectives
• Tailor execution plan for the brand’s visual merchandising strategy across multiple formats (kiosk, gondola, tactical bin, etc.), ensuring consistency of brand identity and brand story
• Propose ways to integrate new best-in-class merchandising elements and in-store communication standards to be able to stand out in physical spaces
• Drive VM roll-out plan/ calendar as well as manage overall VM budget

2.In-Store Displays

• Partner with brand marketing to brainstorm and develop compelling merchandising concepts to highlight key product launches/ promotions and drive traffic to points of sale
• Supervise and manage visual merchandising projects from planning and design development up to store implementation to ensure timely completion, working closely with suppliers to ensure materials, specifications, and project budgets are properly executed
• Manage point-of-sale collaterals, including supporting materials and/or décor to bring brand story to life
• Oversee visual merchandising standards, collaborating with retail and store teams to ensure consistency in visual presentation across all retail formats

3.Marketing and HQ Initiatives

• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop visual elements for marketing campaigns, including pop-ups, brand activations, and promotional events
• Collaborate as needed on HQ initiatives requiring technical expertise (e.g. office renovations, major warehouse repairs)

4.Leadership and Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Collaborate with marketing, product development, and retail teams to align visual merchandising strategies with marketing campaigns and product launches.
• Work closely with store managers to gather feedback and insights for continuous improvement
• Conduct training sessions to educate store teams on merchandising standards and perfect store execution
• Lead, mentor, and develop the merchandising team to build talent pipeline
• Consistently deepen supplier pool, and develop strong relationships with key suppliers to negotiate favorable terms
