Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or engineering with 5-8 years Unix/Linux admin experience.
• Certifications in Red Hat, HP-UX, and Solaris are highly desirable.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise infra technologies listed (VMware, DNS, LDAP, NFS, etc.).
• Experience with cybersecurity tools and vulnerability remediation is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Ensure long-term Unix/Linux server operations with capacity planning and lifecycle management.
• Collaborate with engineering to optimize Unix environments supporting design/manufacturing tools.
• Create and maintain standardized server/workstation images.
• Remediate vulnerabilities and harden systems to improve security posture.
• Perform root cause analysis, incident resolution, and patch management.
• Provide expertise for Red Hat, HP-UX, and Solaris platforms with coverage in Cebu time zone.
