You will ensure safe, reliable operations, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement.

The role requires a strong background in drill and blast, ventilation, paste backfill, and development, with a focus on delivering cost-efficient production and mentoring a cross-functional team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years underground mining experience.
• Experience in mechanised and sublevel open stoping.
• Leadership exposure within technical or operational teams.
• Licences or registrations related to blasting will be valued.

Responsibilities

• Lead underground mine engineering to deliver safe, efficient production outcomes.
• Provide technical guidance on drill and blast, ventilation, paste backfill, and haulage.
• Ensure designs and plans meet risk, regulatory, and safety requirements.
• Drive best practices and cost control across the operations.
• Mentor and develop a multidisciplinary engineering team.
• Collaborate with operations, planning, projects, and contractors.
