Job summary

Sleek in the Philippines hires an accounting professional to prepare UK year end accounts, CT600s, and VAT returns for small business clients. You will work in a pod led by a UK-based Senior Accounts Manager and support around 300 UK clients, growing to 500 by 2027.

You will review the work of accountants and bookkeepers, chase clients for records, and communicate clearly with UK clients by email. You will use AI tools built into our workflows and contribute to process and data accuracy.

Qualifications

• At least part-qualified: CA or CA Intermediate (India), CPA (Philippines), or ACCA (member, or all Applied Skills papers passed).
• At least 4 years in accounting, including 2 UK year ends, CT600s and VAT returns for small businesses, in a UK practice or outsourcing firm.
• At least 1 year reviewing other accountants' or bookkeepers' work.
• Written English good enough to email UK clients directly.
• Based in India or the Philippines with the right to work there.

Responsibilities

• Prepare year end accounts (FRS 102/105), CT600s and VAT returns under Making Tax Digital.
• Review the work of accountants and bookkeepers in your pod and explain corrections.
• Chase clients early for missing records and flag deadlines to the manager.
• Email UK clients directly to request information or clarify needs.
• Keep client records and workflow data accurate for visibility.
• Use AI tools and help shape them within workflows.
