Job summary

The Lead Tree - Clark Outsourcing in Clark Pampanga seeks a senior UK Accountant for a senior, office-based role. You will own UK year-end accounts, VAT work and client relationships, communicating primarily via email with regular calls. You’ll work closely with two delivery teams to raise technical standards and avoid last-minute filing.

You will progress from handling a portfolio to Client Manager as competence and relationships develop, with a written development plan in month one.

Qualifications

Experience handling UK year-end accounts and corporation tax for UK limited companies.
Strong knowledge of VAT and Making Tax Digital requirements.
Ability to communicate clearly with clients by email and phone.
Proactive, deadline-driven with a plan to reduce last-minute filing.
Experience with leading client workstreams and maintaining client relationships.

Responsibilities

Prepare statutory year-end accounts for UK entities under FRS 102/FRS 105.
Compute corporation tax and related schedules; manage tax positions and reliefs.
Prepare bookkeeping to trial balance in Xero/QuickBooks and review VAT returns.
Support MTD filings and ensure timely submission of quarterly updates.
Liaise with clients to explain accounting and tax matters clearly.
Maintain accurate client records in the practice management system.
