Job summary

UCT is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design thermal solutions for delivery systems, using CAD to meet stringent customer specs. The role requires leading Build-to-Print projects, coordinating with Engineering, Manufacturing and Sales, and ensuring design data is accurate and compliant with PLM/ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Must hold a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering with strong technical depth.
• 5–7 years in industrial manufacturing, preferably semiconductor/high-precision metals.
• Experience leading Build-to-Print projects and end-to-end engineering ownership.

Responsibilities

• Designs thermal solutions for gas/liquid delivery systems using CAD tools.
• Collaborates with sales/operations to meet customer specs and proposals.
• Researches data and translates requirements into robust manufacturing processes.
• Coordinates with internal teams and suppliers to fulfill design requirements.
• Leads ECO/ECN processes and maintains engineering data in PLM/ERP systems.
