Job summary

SLI Consulting Inc. seeks an experienced Test Manager/Lead to organize and control testing activities across projects. You will ensure visibility of testing status and drive resource planning at the unit level.

The role requires extensive experience managing testing teams, coordinating with PMs, and enforcing test processes within the SDLC. ISTQB CTFL and leadership credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience leading an independent testing team of at least three members.
• Proven ability to manage projects, risks, issues and mitigations.
• Experience creating capacity and demand plans for resources.
• Experience in functional and non-functional testing.
• Driven test process improvements across teams and programs.
• Mentoring and coaching teammates for performance management.
• Knowledge of testing tools MF ALM, LR, UFT, Jira, Selenium, Github, Jenkins.
• Strong reporting skills for test status and metrics.

Responsibilities

• Comply with ITG Quality Framework established by TCOE.
• Ensure testing processes align with SDLC and TCOE standards.
• Collaborate with project managers and ITG leaders to ensure quality delivery.
• Provide guidance to testers and supervise test teams for consistency.
• Gather and report test status; represent team in meetings.
• Identify risks and mitigations.
• Prioritize testing activities to meet commitments.
• Forecast resource needs for upcoming projects and enhancements.
• Plan, control and implement testing processes.
• Define and monitor test task execution.
• Handle scheduling, budgeting and overall test effort.
• Set quality metrics and ensure targets are met.
• Identify skill gaps and training needs.
