Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer in the Philippines to design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for UI and API testing. The role involves defining automation strategies across applications, mentoring junior engineers, and collaborating with scrum teams to ensure quality through CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in QA/testing with a focus on test automation.
• Hands-on experience with WebdriverIO, Playwright, or Cypress.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript or another OOP language.
• Strong UI and API test automation experience.
• Hands-on API testing and automation using Postman, RestAssured, or similar tools.
• Mandatory hands-on experience with BrowserStack.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Knowledge of test design techniques, strategies, and QA methodologies.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks.
• Define and lead test automation strategies across applications and platforms.
• Develop and execute automated UI and API test suites.
• Identify suitable test cases for automation with cross-functional teams.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Contribute to DevOps and continuous testing initiatives.
• Review test automation code and ensure coding best practices.
• Mentor junior QA and automation engineers.
