Job summary

EPAM is a leading global provider of digital platform engineering and development services. We are seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer to independently and collaboratively test multiple applications, focusing on automation while performing manual testing when needed.

You will build tests from user stories, run them, and report results to ensure smooth releases. Strong automation expertise and clear communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent technical field.
• 3+ years of software QA and automated testing experience.
• Experience with front-end, microservices, and/or serverless testing environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on manual testing, programming, and debugging.
• Lead and mentor less experienced team members.
• Develop understanding of business objectives and product requirements.
• Determine best automation approach for projects.
• Communicate with teams about features, requirements, and releases.
• Design tests meeting functional and performance criteria.
• Support Test Driven Development with rapid feedback.
• Review tests and scripts, and recommend improvements.
• Verify user stories and defects are clearly communicated.
• Provide status updates and flag delivery risks.
• Assist with production issue troubleshooting and root cause checks.
• Stay current with new testing tools and technologies.
