Job summary

ACCIONA Construction in the Philippines seeks a Temporary Works Design Manager to lead the design, coordination, and technical assurance of temporary works for bridge construction, including marine platforms and lifting systems. The role requires 15 years total experience, 10 years in marine bridge projects, Civil Engineering degree, and professional English.

You will work with diverse teams to deliver safe, constructible solutions and integrate with permanent works.

Qualifications

• 15 years total experience in civil engineering projects.
• 10 years in marine bridge construction.
• Strong knowledge of temporary works systems in marine/offshore environments.
• Professional English.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, coordination, and delivery of all temporary works for marine bridge construction.
• Develop safe, efficient temporary works solutions including cofferdams, falsework, formwork, working platforms, lifting systems, and marine access structures.
• Review design briefs, engineering requirements, and construction methodologies to define temporary works scope and objectives.
• Ensure temporary works designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications.
• Coordinate integration of temporary works with permanent works design and construction sequencing.
• Liaise with permanent works designers, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Lead the establishment of the construction temporary works design basis, ensuring the incorporation of all construction loads.
• Participate in and contribute to project risk workshops.
