Qualifications

Job description

Senior Telecom Engineers are vital for designing, implementing, and managing telecommunications networks, facilitating global connectivity and enabling communication across diverse platforms and devices.

Role Qualifications

1. Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s college degree in Engineering (ECE) or equivalent.
2. With 3–5 years of working experience in the telecommunications or related field.
3. Has background knowledge in telecom towers, facilities, site implementation, and troubleshooting.
4. Familiar with telecom materials, equipment, tools, and their applications used in site implementation and network deployment.
5. Has knowledge of material specifications, material requirements, material tracking, and basic inventory management.
6. With experience in OPSAP, AppSheet, and other telecom operational management tools.
7. Knowledgeable in data management, monitoring, tracking, and reporting using tools such as Excel, Google Workspace, Looker Studio/Data Studio, or equivalent platforms.
8. With basic to intermediate knowledge in process automation, digital workflows, and development of operational trackers or dashboards.
9. Strong problem-solving, analytical, critical-thinking, and negotiation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with different levels of the organization.
10. Intermediate level in using basic project and management tools for monitoring tasks, deliverables, and operational activities.
11. Good communication, coordination, and presentation skills.
12. Goal-driven, self-starter, tech-savvy, and possesses a Team Lead mindset.
13. Proficiency in telecom hardware and software configuration.
14. Intermediate to advanced knowledge in wireless technologies, preferably with experience in RAN, site integration, commissioning, or telecom network implementation.
15. Experience in process improvement, automation, dashboard development, or digitalization of telecom operations is an advantage.
16. Familiar with site requirements, site documentation, technical requirements, and implementation standards for telecom sites.
17. Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA) are a plus.
