Job summary

Datacom Philippines is seeking a senior accounting leader to guide a high‑performing team in delivering accurate financials and timely close processes. You will champion internal controls, collaborate across functions, and drive continuous improvement in accounting practices and reporting quality.

You will mentor staff, manage complex reconciliations, and partner with stakeholders to enable informed business decisions, while ensuring compliance and efficiency in a hybrid work environment at

Qualifications

• CA or CPA qualification is required.
• Experience leading a high‑performing accounting team.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders.
• Experience implementing or upgrading accounting systems.
• Ability to analyze complex variances and trends.
• Judgment in selecting methods and criteria for results.
• Frequent interaction with diverse stakeholders and team members.
• Strong MS Office and ERP experience.
• Advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Record-2-Report activities.
• Lead and develop the accounting team to deliver timely, accurate services.
• Prepare and review financial documents, reports and analyses.
• Collaborate with the Accounting team in planning, analysis, and reporting.
• Support preparation of accounting records and financial reports per Datacom standards.
• Perform month-end close activities and maintain ledgers.
• Assist with annual audit preparations.
• Ensure all accounting tasks are completed within the set timeframe.
• Investigate and resolve audit findings and discrepancies.

Lead a talented accounting team to deliver accurate, timely monitoring, preparation, and analysis of financial information and documentation for our accounting service. This role blends strategic leadership with hands‑on accounting, overseeing reconciliations, ledger maintenance, and month‑end close while resolving complex queries and variances. What you'll bring

• CA or CPA Qualification is a MUST
• Experience Managing and leading a high performing team
• Experience influencing stakeholders through challenging situations
• Previous involvement in the implementation of a new accounting system or management and evolution of an existing system
• Ability to manage complex issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends
• Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results
• Ability to frequently interact with a variety of stakeholders and team members
• Strong system skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and enterprise resource planning software (ERP)
• Working knowledge of Oracle or a similar sized ERP system
• Advanced Excel skills

What You'll Do

• Record-2-Report activities
• Managing a team ensuring accounting services deliverables are met in a timely and accurate manner
• Preparation and review of financial documents, reports and information including conducting any analyses’ and resolving any variances
• Collaborating with the Accounting team in financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities
• Supporting the preparation of accounting records and financial reports as per Datacom standards
• Performing month-end close activities. Generating and maintaining general ledgers and any adjustments
• Assisting with annual audit preparations
• Ensuring all accounting tasks are completed within the set timeframe and any issues addressed as they arise
• Investigating and resolving audit findings, account discrepancies and issues of non‑compliance
