Job summary

GR8 Global Philippines is seeking a Senior Tax Manager to lead and grow the tax practice for US individual and corporate clients. You will manage a team, oversee service delivery, and develop client relationships while collaborating with US and international leadership.

The role requires 8-10+ years in tax, 2-3 years of management, strong US tax expertise, CPA qualification, and solid MS Office and reporting skills; MBA or CPA preferred. Based in the Philippines, remote eligibility may apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 8-10+ years of tax experience.
• 2-3 years of management experience.
• 5+ years US taxation expertise (both individual and corporate).
• CPA firm experience required.
• CPA or MBA preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office.
• Strong data analysis and reporting skills.
• Experience with accounting software and documentation tools.
• Excellent leadership and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support tax operations and service delivery in the Philippines team.
• Oversee team operations and ensure quality deliverables.
• Handle functional work for US client firms.
• Assist in US Readiness Program initiatives.
• Learn and adapt to Philippines operations, hiring processes within 3 months.
• Participate in Business Development calls.
• Advise on the types of tax professionals available in the Philippines.
• Support initiatives to grow tax teams in the Philippines.
• Collaborate with US leadership and globally with peers in India, LATAM, etc.
• Manage and develop a tax team based in the Philippines.
• Lead the performance review process for team members.
• Assist with technical interviews to assess candidate qualifications.
• Help form tax teams for clients.
