Job summary

Dempsey Resource Management Inc. is seeking a Tax and Accounting Supervisor in San Pedro, Laguna. The role demands at least 3 years in accounting and tax, with a preference for CPA holders and Big 4 auditors.

You will lead client onboarding, supervise junior staff, ensure tax compliance, and liaise with BIR authorities. The position emphasizes strong knowledge of PFRS and BIR regulations, plus the ability to produce clear client communications and reports.

Qualifications

• CPA preferred; unlicensed candidates with 3+ years accounting and tax experience may be considered
• 3+ years relevant experience, including engagement in-charge, team lead, or direct supervisor
• Strong knowledge of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) and BIR regulations
• Experience handling BIR audits, LOAs, or tax assessments is a strong advantage
• Some experience leading or reviewing junior staff, or ramp-up support for new leaders
• Strong written communication; ability to draft memos, protest letters, and client notes

Responsibilities

• Lead onboarding for new clients on Monthly Retainer Engagement (MRE) services
• Ensure timely preparation and review of client working papers and tax returns
• Oversee bookkeeping and payroll processing across client engagements
• Maintain compliance with BIR regulations and prepare client reports
• Coordinate with external auditors for Annual Financial Statements and audits
• Advise clients on proper accounting treatment and disclosures under PFRS
