Job summary

HRTx Inc in Metro Manila is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to lead SWRO process design and optimised plant performance across the lifecycle of floating seawater desalination projects. You will work with EPC teams to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient delivery.

The role requires 8–15+ years in SWRO or water treatment, experience with EPC environments, and hands-on knowledge of pretreatment, energy recovery, membranes, and plant integration.

Qualifications

• 8–15+ years of process engineering experience in seawater desalination.
• Strong background in SWRO, pretreatment, energy recovery, and plant optimization.
• Experience with EPC environments and technical risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Lead process definition for floating desalination units and technology selection.
• Review process criteria, PFDs, mass/energy balances, and equipment lists.
• Support EPC bids, assess guarantees, and ensure compliance with specs.
• Optimize overall desalination process, topside layout, and future capacity.
• Lead commissioning, start-up, and performance testing activities.
