Job summary

Allegro MicroSystems, a global leader in sensing and power semiconductors, is seeking an Operations Planner in Parañaque to develop and manage production schedules and material plans, ensuring on-time delivery while optimizing inventory. You will work with Kinaxis and other systems to analyze supply and demand, support regional sales, and coordinate with Master Scheduler and factory teams.

Job Summary

The Operations Planner is a developing professional who creates and manages production schedules and material plans to meet the master schedule. This role builds upon foundational knowledge to analyze supply and demand, manage WIP, and resolve routine scheduling and material issues. Working with general supervision, the Planner is responsible for creating an achievable factory schedule that balances efficiency and on-time delivery.

What You Will Do
  • Responsible for strategic safety stock reviews supporting Inventory, VMI, sample orgs.
  • Support sample supply activity including requirement review, supply opportunity, coordination and replenishment.
  • Support backlog alignment activity as needed (such as allocations or swaps required by Master Scheduling Team).
  • Contact for near term (tactical) activity supporting regional Sales Team.
  • Act as supply champion to support key customer account activity: Representing Operations as VOS (Voice of Supply) working closely with VOC (Voice of Customer) who represents the customer (VOC supported by internal Sales).
  • Responsible to provide reliable customer order status (near term).
  • Responsible for balancing duties to ensure customer on-time deliveries and inventory optimization, work with factory planning team to ensure customer requirement is met while maintaining efficient factory loading and scheduling.
  • Work with Master Scheduler to align on priorities.
  • Understand overall Supply Chain constraints and coordinate activities to ensure all resources are exercised and escalated for solution if any supply gaps exist.
  • Report preparation and generation from Kinaxis Supply Chain systems.
What Will You Bring
  • BS in Industrial Engineer or BA/BS degree in Supply Chain Management or related field of study
  • Knowledgeable in Oracle, Kinaxis/ Rapid Response, Salesforce
  • Knowledgeable in Tableau (desired but not required)
  • APICS certification preferred
  • 1-3 years prior experience in materials management, or materials and production planning, preferably in the semiconductor industry.
  • Supply Chain Planning / Master Scheduling experience preferred.
