Job summary

Advanced Energy is seeking a Senior Engineer, Supplier Quality Engineering (SQE) to lead supplier quality execution for New Product Introductions. You will prevent supplier-related quality escapes, enforce QCCL discipline from Proto through EVT and DVT, and partner with NPI QPM and cross-functional teams to enable high-quality product launches.

The role requires 4–6+ years in supplier quality or manufacturing quality, strong PFMEA/control plan knowledge, and a collaborative, results-driven

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering.
Six Sigma Green Belt / Black Belt, ASQ CQE or equivalent preferred.
4-6+ years in Supplier Quality or NPI/Manufacturing Quality roles.
Experience with PFMEA, control plans, APQP, PPAP and FAI.

Responsibilities

Lead supplier quality execution across NPI phases (Proto, EVT, DVT).
Prevent critical supplier-related quality incidents during NPI.
Partner with NPI QPM to align readiness with milestones and gates.
Provide supplier quality approval supporting NPI exits and DVT readiness.
Establish and maintain QCCL for all assigned NPI programs.
Ensure 100% QCCL items are reviewed, mitigated, and cleared before first NPI build.
Define supplier qualification and control strategies for QCCL components.
Drive risk assessments (PFMEA, control plans) and prevent defects.
Own FAI planning and ensure on-time FAI completion for NPI builds.
Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for supplier-related issues.
