Job summary

Advanced Energy is seeking a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer (Electrical/Electronics) to provide technical representation and supplier evaluation to meet AE requirements. You will assess supplier capabilities and quality systems, reporting to the Senior Quality Manager.

The role requires 3–5 years SQE experience in electronics, a bachelor’s in engineering or science, ISO/RoHS knowledge, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

3–5 years of SQE experience in electrical/electronics.
Bachelor's degree in electronic & electrical / mechanical engineering or science/ physics.
Experience with ISO procedures and RoHS compliance.
Experience in auditing, qualifying, and selecting suppliers.
Good English communication skills.
Willing to travel.

Responsibilities

Assist in commodity strategy development with the sourcing team.
Ensure suppliers conform to the Supplier Quality System and provide evidence of continuous improvement.
Review SCB/PCN responses in a timely manner.
Audit key suppliers and prepare audit reports.
Support MRB with corrective actions for nonconforming material.
Provide knowledge transfer training to new suppliers on AE requirements.
Prepare QBR/PBR for the Quality section and attend.
Review FMEA and SPM with vendors to ensure control and improvement.
Review, track and analyze annual quality data and propose QIP.
