Job summary

Pratt & Whitney in the Philippines is seeking a supplier quality engineer to monitor supplier performance, investigate defects, and drive corrective actions. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and lead continuous improvement initiatives while adhering to EHS standards across the site.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree or strong equivalent experience, with proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and excellent written and verbal

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 7 years relevant experience in absence of degree.
• Minimum 3 years relevant experience.
• MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint proficient.
• Strong written and verbal communication and reasoning skill.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to ensure supplier meets quality, cost and delivery requirements.
• Investigate quality issues, analyze defects and implement corrective action with the supplier.
• Ensure corrective action effectiveness to prevent recurrence.
• Work with cross functional team in resolving quality issues.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers and internal teams.
• Conduct supplier audits to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Adheres to participate in all EHS practices and standards across the site, including but not limited to proactive reporting of observed hazards and recommendations to ensure the safety and well-being of self and others.
