Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Licensed/registered Civil Engineer.
• 5+ years of bridge/structural design experience.
• Proficient in structural software such as MIDAS and STAAD.
• Solid understanding of geotechnical principles, materials and construction methods.

Responsibilities

• Assist with structural analysis and design of bridges, culverts, retaining walls and ancillary structures.
• Prepare design calculations for gravity loads, live loads, wind, seismic and thermal effects.
• Contribute to conceptual, preliminary and detailed design packages.
• Perform quantity take-offs and assist in BOQ preparation.
• Support value engineering and alternative studies.
• Apply relevant codes under supervision.
• Follow company QA/QC procedures.
• Draft technical notes, design reports and basis-of-design summaries.
• Develop and update structural models in analysis tools.
• Produce and revise drawings in CAD/BIM platforms.
• Assist with shop drawing reviews, RFIs, material submittals, and method statement checks.
• Participate in site visits and inspections with senior engineers.
