Job summary

Lycopodium Philippines is recruiting a Senior Structural Designer to join our growing Structural Design team in Manila. You will apply your expertise in design drafting to deliver compliant structural solutions for projects in the resources and industrial sectors.

You will mentor junior designers, collaborate with engineers, and ensure designs meet project, client and regulatory standards, with emphasis on AutoCAD and MicroStation workflows.

Qualifications

• University degree or 8+ years in a similar design drafting role.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MicroStation.
• Understanding fabrication/construction in chemical/pharma/refinery plants.
• Experience with gold, base metals or iron ore is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Be proficient in AutoCAD and MicroStation, following procedures.
• Produce structural designs compliant with standards.
• Provide technical advice on planning and design processes.
• Disseminate project design data to team members timely.
• Mentor and develop teammates, identifying growth paths.
• Support teammates to meet project deliverables.
• Maintain high communication within the design team.
• Provide leadership and direction to the design team.
