Job summary

Booth & Partners is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Staff Accountant to own the firm’s day-to-day financial operations and full monthly close cycle. You will manage bookkeeping, reconciliations, AR/ AP processing, and contractor pay calculations across the firm and affiliated entities, with a focus on accuracy and timely reporting.

The role requires strong US GAAP knowledge, experience with QuickBooks Online, and a proactive approach to close cycles and process improvements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
4–6 years of bookkeeping, GL accounting, and close-cycle ownership.
Experience in a compliance-conscious environment; professional services background preferred.
Strong reconciliation discipline and knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
Proficiency with QuickBooks Online; ProAdvisor certification preferred; Clio Manage experience is a bonus.

Responsibilities

Own day-to-day bookkeeping, bank and credit card reconciliations, AR collections, and AP processing.
Manage monthly close cycle, journal entries, and intercompany adjustments across firm entities.
Coordinate payroll support and ensure U.S. payroll tax compliance where applicable.
Reconcile and review monthly close deliverables and prepare CFO-facing financials.
