Job summary

MicroSourcing in Cebu, Philippines is seeking a Senior SRE/DevOps Engineer to own production AWS infra, design CI/CD pipelines, and implement IaC using Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation.

You'll manage Docker deployments (ECS/Fargate), ensure observability with logs, metrics and alerts, and handle PostgreSQL backups, capacity planning and security basics. This hybrid night-shift role offers growth and collaboration within a diverse team.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS production systems (compute, networking, IAM, logging).
• Production container deployment with Docker (ECS/Fargate or equivalent).
• Experience designing CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) and IaC (Terraform, AWS CDK, CloudFormation or Pulumi).
• Strong Linux and shell scripting with Python proficiency for ops tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain production AWS infrastructure including containers, networking, IAM, databases and queues.
• Design and automate CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code.
• Manage production container deployments using Docker and ECS/Fargate.
• Maintain observability with logging, metrics, alerting, health checks and PostgreSQL backups.
• Leverage AI tooling to accelerate infrastructure workflows.
