Job summary

MicroSourcing is hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer – AWS & Cloud Infrastructure in Cebu, Philippines. The role focuses on operating and maintaining production AWS infrastructure, containerization with Docker/ECS, and building robust CI/CD with IaC.

Night shift is required, with opportunities for growth and a collaborative, inclusive culture. The candidate will design automated pipelines and manage observability, databases, and security across cloud services, delivering reliable, scalable systems

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience operating AWS production systems (compute, networking, IAM, logging, queues, databases).
• Proven experience deploying Docker containers to production (ECS/Fargate).
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) and IaC (Terraform, CDK, CloudFormation, or Pulumi).
• Strong Linux and shell scripting skills with Python proficiency for ops tools.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL, observability tools, and cloud security fundamentals (IAM, secrets management).

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain production AWS infra: containers, networking, IAM, databases, queues.
• Design and automate CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) and IaC (Terraform / CDK / CloudFormation).
• Manage production Docker deployments with ECS/Fargate.
• Ensure observability: logs, metrics, alerts, health checks, PostgreSQL backups and capacity.
• Leverage AI tools to automate scripts and speed infra workflows.
