Job summary

Fluence is seeking a Sr. Solutions Engineer / Electrical Design Engineer in the Philippines to provide senior engineering support for BESS generation projects.

You will interface with ISO/TSO representatives and collaborate to ensure system compliance, while driving design standardization across the BESS power systems within the team. Responsibilities include developing design standards, equipment specs, and protection schemes, plus modeling and coordinating with external consultants for large

Qualifications

• 5+ years of DC/AC power systems design experience.
• Experience with utility grid operation and load flow studies.
• Strong knowledge of local and international codes: PEC, NEC, IEC.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Business Development to craft complete and cost-effective proposals for future projects.
• Develop and maintain design standards, templates and tools for BESS power systems.
• Develop standard equipment specifications for bulk DC/AC power system components (HV substations, MV/LV conductors).
• Create standardized protection and control scheme methodology for MV/ HV coordination.
• Model system-level PSLF/PSSE for grid-interactive inverter systems in coordination with the BOP contractor.
• Coordinate with external consultants to support interconnection documentation and budgeting.
