Job summary

Deye New Energy Tech is seeking a Solar Service Technician to perform site maintenance, installations, and troubleshooting for solar PV systems at Quezon City on-site locations. The role involves working in a multi-tasking team, handling documentation, and root-cause analysis to improve system reliability.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of experience, strong English communication, and a solid understanding of electrical safety and solar energy concepts.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience as Solar Service Technician.
Fluent in English, written and verbal.
Strong knowledge of solar energy systems, electrical safety protocols.
Experience using diagnostic tools and equipment.
Ability to work independently and in a customer-facing environment.
Willingness to travel and perform in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

Perform varying corrective, preventive, and emergency maintenance for solar PV systems.
Interact with customers on a professional level as part of a multi-tasking team.
Perform onsite installations, repairs, and troubleshooting.
Check and provide complete documentation to clients.
Carry out site root analysis.
Attend conferences and B2B meetings to assess new solar PV system technologies.
Apply root cause analysis techniques on all major and recurring faults.
Investigate technical failures and prepare formal technical reports.
Record keeping and management of spare part movements.
Able to develop training materials and courseware.
Provide technical training and guidance to customers.
