Job summary

POWER FOR ALL INCORPORATED in Metro Manila is seeking a Technician-Solar to install and service solar PV systems, including modules, racking, inverters, and monitoring equipment.

The role covers maintenance, troubleshooting, data monitoring, safety on rooftops, and client guidance. Candidates should have 1–2 years of solar experience, appropriate certifications, and willingness to travel to various site locations.

Qualifications

• Certificate or Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in solar PV installation or electrical systems maintenance.
• Certification as a Solar PV Installer (e.g., Mechatronics, TESDA NC2).
• Certification in Electrical Installation and Maintenance, Welding, Scaffolding is an advantage.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools used in electrical work.
• Familiarity with PV system monitoring software and tools.
• Strong understanding of electrical wiring, circuitry, and safety protocols.
• Ability to clearly explain technical information to clients and team members.
• Willingness to travel to different project sites.
• Full-time with some weekends/holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Install solar PV systems including modules, racking, inverters, and monitoring equipment.
• Perform regular maintenance, inspections, and cleaning of solar panels and system components.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and mechanical issues in solar equipment.
• Monitor performance using digital tools and report efficiency.",
• Record data on energy production and equipment performance.
• Adhere to safety protocols on rooftops, high elevations, and confined spaces.
• Provide clients with guidance on basic system care and maintenance.
• Respond to customer inquiries and provide professional support.
• Maintain logs and records of installation and maintenance activities.
• Conduct quality control on completed installations and repairs.
