Job summary

Acquire Intelligence is seeking a Senior Software Tester to deliver high-quality testing across software products in an Agile setting. You will collaborate with developers, stakeholders, and end-users to ensure system functionality, usability, and performance.

You will lead test planning, write test scripts, manage defects in JIRA, and contribute to UAT and automation initiatives while maintaining thorough documentation and clear communication.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years’ experience in software testing on complex projects.
• Expertise in manual testing and API testing.
• Familiarity with BDD and automated testing tools.
• Proficient with JIRA and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and strong documentation skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience leading UAT processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Responsibilities

• Mentor junior testers and share best practices.
• Support the Product Manager with additional assigned tasks.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR ROLE

As a Senior Software Tester, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality testing expertise and ensuring that all software products meet required standards. You will collaborate with developers, stakeholders, and end-users in an Agile environment to ensure system functionality, usability, and performance.
