Job summary

Procter & Gamble Philippines in Manila is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to guide the technical direction of ConsumerPulse AI-powered products. You will mentor engineers and collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and operations to deliver scalable software across Python and React stacks.

You will transform software engineering practices, design data-driven web apps, implement data integrations into our data lake, and optimize cost and performance while obsessing over data quality.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership and team management with cross-functional collaboration.
• Hands-on frontend experience with Python, ReactJS, NextJS, and JavaScript.
• Strong software development foundation including CI/CD and automated testing.
• Solid data structures, data modeling and system design skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in a global team.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to the Scrum team including engineers and data specialists.
• Transform and optimize software engineering processes and practices.
• Design, build, and maintain data-driven web apps and reporting solutions.
• Implement data integrations, including publishing to the company data lake.
• Optimize cost and performance while ensuring data quality.
• Support, monitoring and troubleshooting of systems.
• Collaborate with Program Manager to define delivery timelines.
• Document architectures, standards, and processes.
• Coach Front End, Back End and Data Engineers, including vendors.
