Job summary

Maya is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain secure, scalable payment, settlement, reconciliation, and integration platforms. You will lead technical initiatives, drive engineering excellence, and collaborate across cross-functional teams while leveraging AI-assisted development tools responsibly to improve delivery and quality.

You will design, develop, test, deploy, and support backend services, ensuring compliance and reliability.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development experience in enterprise or mission-critical systems.
• Strong expertise in Java, Kotlin, JVM-based technologies, or TypeScript/Node.js.
• Experience with Spring Boot, REST APIs, distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and Kafka or similar technologies.
• Strong knowledge of SQL databases, cloud platforms, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder management, and technical leadership skills.
