Job summary

Google in the Philippines is seeking a software engineer to contribute to Flutter/Dart based mobile UI work delivering Android and iOS experiences, including GPay integrations. The role involves understanding ad and voucher serving systems (Java/C++), recommending improvements, and enhancing ads logging and ML pipelines for publishers.

You will use AI development tools to accelerate personal and team tasks and partner with UX and Product Management leads to craft new user-facing experiences,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
• 3 years of experience with full stack development, across back-end such as Java, Python, Golang, or C++ codebases, and front-end experience including JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS or equivalent.
• 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products.
• 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
• 1 year of experience building data infrastructure and solutions (e.g., designing architecture, building data pipelines, implementing scalable monitoring, build advanced visualizations).

Preferred qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.

• Experience in data collection/monitoring/alerting infrastructure, data analysis pipelines and machine learning.
