Job summary

Amadeus is hiring a Senior Software Development Engineer to develop, maintain, and support airline software applications. You’ll collaborate with a Scrum team to deliver solutions, participate in production rotations, and mentor teammates while refining training materials.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in C#/.NET and SQL, strong coding and testing skills, and experience with Agile methods; experience with cloud and Angular/React is valued for modern, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Data Science or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of professional programming experience in C# (C Sharp), .NET Framework, and SQL.
• 1+ years recognized for strong understanding of enterprise-level systems or sub-systems.
• 1+ years of experience with Agile methodology.
• Knowledge of the airline industry is beneficial but not required.

Summary of the role

• Develop, maintain, and support efficient, reliable, and maintainable airline software applications.

In this role you’ll / Your main responsibilities

• Contribute knowledge on relevant technologies, following coding and implementation standards to ensure high‑quality deliverables.
• Collaborate with the Scrum framework team to align on priorities and deliver solutions that meet shared goals.
• Participate in operational rotations and address time‑sensitive production issues within agreed service expectations.
• Maintain and update training materials while supporting the development of team members' functional and technical knowledge.
• Analyze product backlog items; design, implement, and test optimized solutions, including conducting peer reviews.

About the ideal candidate

Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Data Science or equivalent experience.
