Job summary

AMCS Group in Cebu is seeking an experienced Software Developer to join a team building cloud-based environmental software. You will contribute to developing, enhancing, and maintaining our SaaS products, using .NET technologies and modern web standards.

You will work with agile teams, deliver updates to management, and help shape secure, scalable solutions. A strong background in C#, REST, databases, and Kubernetes is preferred, along with a passion for user interfaces and continuous learning.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years’ experience in an information technology environment, specializing in software development.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with customers, colleagues, suppliers and third parties.
• High levels of drive and energy and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Enthusiasm for software development and a passion for user interfaces.
• Commitment to ongoing personal development.

Responsibilities

• Developing, enhancing, and maintaining environmental software products per requirements and designs.
• Member of a team of software developers using latest versions of Microsoft .Net.
• Contributing to the specification, development, and test of software solutions to defined standards.
• Delivery of software development projects both as stand-alone and as a team member of agile and outsourced development teams.
• Develop and deliver project updates to senior management.

What You'll Do

Developing, enhancing, and maintaining our environmental software products in accordance with agreed requirements and designs, including:

• Member of a team of software developers using latest versions of Microsoft .Net
• Contributing to the specification, development, and test of software solutions to defined standards.
• Delivery of software development projects both as stand‑alone and as a team member of internal agile and outsourced development teams.
• Develop and deliver project updates to senior management.

Skills and Competencies

• Strong technical knowledge of Web Technologies such as .NET, Asp.Net Web API, REST
• Understanding Relational Databases (we use Postgres and Azure SQL, but any other experience would do)
• Strong experience with latest C#
• Good knowledge of Object-Oriented Design and Development
• Familiar with security mechanisms including web and web service security and their implementations.
• Experience in writing Unit test cases
• Understanding Kubernetes basics

What You Bring

• 5-10 years’ experience in an Information Technology environment, specializing in Software Development, would be a distinct advantage.
• Good communication and personal skills, able to communicate clearly, effectively, and form effective working relationships with customers, colleagues, suppliers and third parties.
• High levels of drive and energy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Enthusiasm and general interest in Software Development.
• A passion for user interface
• Commitment to on‑going personal development
