We are looking for a Senior Test Automation Engineer with strong experience in UI and API test automation, automation framework development, and quality engineering practices. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on expertise with modern automation tools, experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, and a strong understanding of CI/CD and cloud-based testing.
The successful candidate will also contribute to automation strategy, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate closely with development, QA, DevOps, and other cross-functional teams.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks.
Define and lead test automation strategies across applications and platforms.
Develop and execute automated UI and API test suites.
Identify suitable test cases for automation in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Contribute to DevOps and continuous testing initiatives.
Review test automation code and ensure adherence to coding and automation best practices.
Mentor junior QA and automation engineers.
Collaborate with developers, product teams, and other stakeholders to identify and resolve quality issues.
Apply effective test design techniques and QA methodologies to improve overall product quality.
5–8 years of experience in QA/testing, with a strong focus on test automation.
Strong hands‑on experience with WebdriverIO, Playwright, or Cypress.
Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript or another object‑oriented programming language.
Strong experience in UI and API test automation.
Hands‑on experience with API testing and automation using Postman, RestAssured, or similar tools.
Mandatory hands‑on experience with BrowserStack.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
Strong knowledge of test design techniques, test strategies, and QA methodologies.
Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
Exposure to test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or Zephyr.
Understanding of BDD frameworks, particularly Cucumber.
Familiarity with Docker and/or Kubernetes.
Experience with cloud environments such as AWS or Azure.
Experience with cloud testing platforms such as BrowserStack or Sauce Labs.
Experience with accessibility testing and visual regression testing.
Experience with load/performance testing is a plus.
Strong expertise in test automation frameworks, tools, and programming languages, particularly JavaScript/TypeScript or other OOP languages.
Deep understanding of QA methodologies, software testing principles, and test automation practices.
Proven experience developing and maintaining robust and scalable automation frameworks.
Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum software development environments.
Experience working with containerized and/or cloud environments, including Docker, AWS, or Azure.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to mentor team members and provide technical guidance on test automation practices.
