Job summary

CRS Philippines seeks a Senior Social Safeguards Officer to design, implement, monitor, and continually improve social safeguard systems for community-based conservation, restoration, and carbon finance initiatives. The role ensures compliance with IPRA, FPIC, and international standards on Indigenous rights and social inclusion.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and implementing social safeguard systems for conservation, restoration, and carbon finance initiatives.
• Knowledge of Indigenous Peoples rights Acts (IPRA) and FPIC standards.
• Experience with stakeholder engagement and human rights considerations in project work.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, monitor, and continually improve social safeguard systems for community-based conservation and carbon finance initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with IPRA, FPIC, and international best practices on indigenous rights and social inclusion.
