Job summary

KPMG R.G. Manabat & Co. is seeking a Security Operations Manager to lead the SOC Analysts and ensure 24x7 monitoring, escalation, and incident response. The role coordinates analysts, processes, and technology to meet security objectives and SLAs.

You will oversee SOC engineering, incident response liaison, and deployment of security tools while maintaining KPIs and governance. Strong SIEM/IDS/IPS experience is required, along with ITIL‑based operations discipline.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years Security leadership experience and ability to develop long‑term career plans for team members.
• Exceptional operational rigor with ITIL based operations experience.
• Experience in designing, measuring and reporting security KPIs and metrics.
• Ability to create shift schedules to ensure 24x7 coverage.
• Proficient in modern security concepts and scripting languages (PowerShell, bash, sh, Perl, Lua).
• Familiarity with Azure Sentinel.
• Familiarity with vulnerability testing tools (Metasploit, scanners, Kali Linux, Nmap).
• 4-6 years’ experience with SIEM tools (Sentinel, Splunk, LogRhythm).
• Familiarity with IDS/IPS and Firewalls (Snort, Cisco, FortiGate).
• 4-6 years’ experience with Incident Response.

Responsibilities

• Lead the 24x7 SOC delivery team and drive accountability within SOC engineering.
• Oversee daily SOC activities to protect networks, systems and apps according to policies.
• Escalate cases to appropriate teams and monitor incident response progress.
• Update SOPs and playbooks based on lessons learned and policy changes.
• Provide technical oversight for security tool deployment and implementation.
• Monitor service levels and prioritize threats using IDS/IPS and security tools.
• Identify and mitigate information security risks through ongoing analysis.
• Coordinate staffing schedules and manage personnel scheduling.
