KPMG R.G. Manabat & Co. is seeking a Security Operations Manager to lead the 24x7 SOC, coordinate incident response, and ensure alignment of people, processes, and technology with objectives and SLAs. The role involves technical oversight of security tools and continuous improvement of playbooks.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years leading security teams, strong ITIL experience, and hands-on skills with SIEMs and scripting to support enterprise security operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years in security leadership and building career development plans.
• Extensive ITIL-based experience in IT operations and services.
• Design and measure security KPIs, metrics, and performance indicators.
• Ability to create shift schedules for 24x7 coverage.
• Deep knowledge of modern security concepts and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead the 24x7 SOC delivery team and drive accountability.
• Oversee daily SOC activities to protect networks, systems, and apps.
• Escalate cases to appropriate teams as needed.
• Update SOPs and playbooks from lessons learned.
• Provide technical oversight for security tool deployments.
• Monitor service levels and prioritize threats using IDS, firewalls, and SOC tools.
• Identify intrusion attempts by reviewing event details and summaries.
• Proactively mitigate information security risks.
• Coordinate shift schedules and staffing coverage.
• Stay current with vendor updates and technology directions.
