Job summary

Electronic Transfer And Advance Processing Inc (eTap Inc) in the Philippines seeks a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain scalable AWS cloud infrastructure. Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience in Site Reliability Engineering or a related role with a strong focus on AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Strong experience designing, deploying, and managing AWS services, including EC2, EKS, RDS, S3, CloudFront, IAM, VPC, and Lambda.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible.
• Strong understanding of AWS networking concepts, including VPCs, VPNs, routing, load balancing, and security groups.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain scalable, highly available, and secure AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Develop, implement, and maintain IaC solutions using Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation.
• Lead incident response activities, troubleshoot production issues, perform RCA, and implement preventive measures.

What You Will Do

• Design, deploy, and maintain scalable, highly available, and secure AWS cloud infrastructure, including VPC, EC2, EKS, RDS, S3, IAM, and other cloud‑native services.
• Develop, implement, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation to automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment.
• Lead incident response activities, troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and implement preventive measures to improve system reliability and minimize downtime.
• Continuously optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, scalability, security, and cost efficiency by leveraging AWS best practices and cloud‑native technologies.
• Mentor junior engineers, provide technical guidance, and collaborate with Development, Infrastructure, Security, and Operations teams to improve platform reliability and operational excellence.
• Partner with stakeholders to establish Site Reliability Engineering standards, cloud governance, and security best practices while ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
• Stay up to date with emerging AWS technologies, automation frameworks, and Site Reliability Engineering best practices to continuously improve cloud infrastructure and engineering processes.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of hands‑on experience in Site Reliability Engineering or a related role with a strong focus on AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Strong experience designing, deploying, and managing AWS services, including EC2, EKS, RDS, S3, CloudFront, IAM, VPC, and Lambda.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible.
• Strong understanding of AWS networking concepts, including VPCs, VPNs, routing, load balancing, and security groups.
• Experience with scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or similar languages.
• Hands‑on experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools such as CloudWatch, Grafana, and Prometheus.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security principles, IAM, compliance standards, and AWS security best practices.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, incident management, and root cause analysis skills.
• Proven leadership experience with the ability to mentor engineers and lead cross‑functional technical initiatives.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
