Job summary

Biopharma Careers is seeking a Senior SIEM Engineer for Cybersecurity Detection to strengthen our security monitoring and automation capabilities. You will develop and enhance SIEM/XDR use cases, tune detection to reduce false positives, and integrate security technologies across teams.

You will collaborate with CISOC and risk teams in a global, multicultural environment, covering reporting, dashboards, and documentation aligned with SOPs and security standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in development of security use cases for SIEM/XDR technologies such as Splunk ES, Microsoft Sentinel or Defender.
• Programming experience in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash) and API integration.
• Desired experience in BAS threat creation.
• Proven experience in reporting/ticketing platforms like ServiceNow.
• Knowledge of remediation processes, change management and triage.

Responsibilities

• Implement new security use cases on the SIEM/XDR.
• Fine-tune use cases to lower false positives.
• Develop scripts and integrations to enhance SIEM/XDR capabilities.
• Maintain existing scripts and integrations.
• Test and improve use cases with simulated threats.
• Evolve technologies according to roadmap.
• Collaborate with Security Detection and Incident Response teams.
• Produce and deliver reports & dashboards for stakeholders.
• Ensure documentation compliance per SOPs and working instructions.
• Interact with risk & information security teams to present monitoring status.
