Job summary

Ibex Limited is seeking a Security Operations Analyst to monitor security dashboards, analyze threats, and coordinate responses across IT teams. The role supports vulnerability management, SIEM/EDR tuning, and threat intelligence integration to improve detection capabilities.

Responsibilities include handling incidents from identification to closure, ensuring proper documentation, and contributing to automation and ongoing SOC process improvements.

Qualifications

• Non‑negotiable: core SOC operations, security monitoring, incident handling.
• Non‑negotiable: vulnerability management and security hardening support.
• Non‑negotiable: detection engineering, threat intel, SIEM/EDR/MITRE framework.
• Supporting automation of incident escalation and RCA is required.
• Actively guide and escalate for Level-1 SOC Analysts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily monitoring of security dashboards, alerts, and events.
• Review threats, risks, and indicators of compromise (IOCs).
• Coordinate with IT teams for investigation, containment, and resolution of security issues.
• Support vulnerability scanning and track remediation with IT teams.
• Participate in threat hunting using MITRE ATT&CK framework.
• Tune SIEM/EDR alerts and assist in control validations.
