Job summary

Axos Bank is seeking a Senior Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer to design, implement, and maintain marketing tech solutions powering multi-channel customer engagement. You will build journeys, automations, and data-driven personalization across Email, SMS, and other channels within the Marketing Cloud and CRM ecosystem.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of experience in Marketing Technology, CRM, or Marketing Automation development roles.
• Advanced hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud including Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, Mobile Studio, Audience Builder/Data Extensions, and Distributed Marketing.
• Working knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
• Proficiency in AMPscript, SSJS, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience designing and consuming REST/SOAP APIs.
• Strong SQL skills for audience and data models.
• Familiarity with CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and CCPA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Build, test, and deploy customer journeys across channels using Marketing Cloud tools.
• Develop and maintain integrations between Marketing Cloud and CRM/data warehouses via APIs.
• Code AMPscript, SSJS, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to support personalization and automation.
• Design data models and segmentation using SQL for scalable data processing.
• Ensure governance, consent, data retention, and compliance across campaigns.
• Troubleshoot issues, monitor deliverability, and resolve defects in automation workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Propose improvements to engagement, deliverability, and operational efficiency.
• Evaluate and pilot new platform features and integrations for roadmap input.
• Maintain documentation of workflows, integrations, and processes.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to coding standards.
