Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Consultant Security Systems Engineer to join a leading security systems team. You will design, implement, and support IBM Datapower and IBM Verify Identity Access, MFA, and related toolsets to strengthen the enterprise security posture.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to implement security policies, monitor environments, and automate security processes while maintaining compliance and high availability across the IT infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in an enterprise IT environment.
• 3-5 years in monitoring, developing and implementing information security systems.
• Experience with IBM Datapower and/or IBM Verify Identity Access and MFA.
• Strong Unix Bash scripting experience.
• Familiar with IP/Network/Cloud infrastructure components.
• Experience with authentication, IAM, LDAP, SSO.

Responsibilities

• Platform engineering for supported platforms.
• Define design requirements.
• Oversee day-to-day operational support.
• Integrate tools with other platforms.
• Adopt tools deeper into the enterprise.
• Help define standards, guidelines, leading practices, metrics and continuous validation of system and capabilities.
• Troubleshoot complex problems related to processes, infrastructure, & web security.
• Learn and implement new security products as needed.
• Develop pioneering approaches to emerging Information Security industry trends and assist with automation of the environment.
