Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Security Engineering Engineer III in Manila to implement, operate, and continuously improve security platforms protecting endpoints, data, cloud infra, and networks. You will collaborate with Security Operations, GRC, and IT teams to ensure platforms are effective and well-documented.

You will act as an escalation point for incidents, perform root cause analysis from logs, and contribute to detection quality and response capabilities.

Qualifications

• Experience administering enterprise security platforms in corporate environments.
• Familiarity with security operations workflows including incident triage, escalation, and root cause analysis.
• Understanding of attack vectors, detection methodologies, and defense-in-depth.
• Experience with ITIL-aligned processes (change, incident, problem management).
• Ability to document technical procedures clearly for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience using ticketing systems (ServiceNow or equivalent) for incident tracking and change control.

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and maintain security platforms across endpoints, cloud, and network.
• Tune alerts to improve signal quality and reduce false positives.
• Develop and maintain detection logic, policies, and rules within platforms.
• Provide escalation and technical guidance for security incidents and investigations.
