Job summary

SMITS, Inc. - IT Company of San Miguel Corporation is seeking a specialist SAP FI consultant to design and configure SAP ECC6 FI solutions in a client environment.

You will manage GL, AP, AR, asset accounting, bank accounting, and cash management, while understanding FI-CO interdependencies with logistics modules. You will gather requirements, blueprint processes, and document the agreed design, then train end-users and transfer knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• At least one full lifecycle SAP FI implementation.
• Analytical with strong communication and presentation skills.
• Knowledgeable in financial processes and basic Philippine taxation reporting requirements.
• Strong ability to facilitate discussions and negotiate mutually beneficial solutions when necessary

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist level functional and configuration knowledge in designing SAP ECC6 FI solutions.
• Design GL, AP, AR, Asset accounting, Bank accounting and Cash Management.
• Understand FI-CO dependencies and interdependencies with logistics modules.
• Gather user requirements, blueprint processes, and document the agreed design.
• Provide functional expertise, guidance, and instructions on SAP functionalities to clients.
• Ensure compliance to reporting standards and processes.
• Prepare test plans and test scripts for various scenarios; conduct UAT with client.
• Conduct knowledge transfer and end-user training.
