Job summary

Insight is seeking a SAP Commerce Systems Architect to define, govern, and evolve our SAP Commerce platform architecture. You will lead strategic technical direction, ensure scalable and secure solutions, and align initiatives with business goals across enterprise commerce deployments.

The role requires extensive SAP Commerce experience, Java/Spring expertise, and a track record in architecture governance within hybrid/multi-cloud environments. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of software engineering with enterprise applications.
• 5+ years of hands‑on SAP Commerce (Hybris) experience.
• 3+ years of solution, systems, or enterprise architecture experience.
• Deep expertise in SAP Commerce architecture and customization strategies.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring with architectural impact understanding.
• Experience designing large-scale B2B/B2C commerce solutions.
• Experience with cloud platforms, microservices, API-first design, and integration patterns.
• Ability to lead architecture governance and explain complex concepts to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain target SAP Commerce architecture and governance.
• Translate business needs into enterprise-grade SAP Commerce solutions.
• Lead architecture reviews and guide design for security, performance, and reliability.
