Birlasoft is hiring a SAP BASIS Senior Consultant to join our Noida/Pune/Chennai/Mumbai/Bangalore/Hyderabad teams. The role requires 5-8 years of SAP Basis experience, 24x7 operations exposure, and strong S4HANA, Linux, and cloud skills. Excellent collaboration and client-ready communication are essential.

The candidate will handle provisioning, upgrades, HA/DR setups, and cloud integrations while ensuring robust system monitoring and performance across multi-region SAP landscapes.

Qualifications

• SAP Basis Consultant with 5-8 years’ experience.
• Experience of working in 24x7 operations and should be a team player
• Good experience of SAP Refresh on HANA DB.
• Need good experience on SAP S4HANA support.
• Expertise in SAP system provisioning.
• Expertise in SAP Add-on upgrade, Support package upgrade
• Good experience on handling issue related to BODS, Data Services and SLT.
• Knowledge of Cloud connectors.
• Expertise in Solution Manager basic configuration like managing SLD, LMDB, EWA, Managed system configuration and technical monitoring.
• Knowledge of SAP HA/DR and backup/restore technologies
• Experience in handling public and private cloud administration
• Expert knowledge in System Monitoring, system performance, SAP software logistics, client copy, and ABAP system setup are a must
• Expert knowledge in Linux environment
• Understanding of cloud architecture is must
• Strong oral and written communication skills with a positive can-do & self-starter attitude.
• Experience with Public cloud is must. Certification will be an added advantage.
• Scripting knowledge (Shell, Perl) will be an added advantage
• Knowledge is other DevOps tools for automation will be preferred.

Responsibilities

• SAP Basis administration and provisioning in SAP landscapes.
• Manage 24x7 operations and coordinate with teams for incident resolution.
• Assist with SAP S4HANA upgrades and maintenance.
• Support SAP Fiori/SAP workloads on HANA and HANA DB refreshes.
• Collaborate on cloud connectors and Cloud architectures.
• Configure Solution Manager basics for system monitoring and LMDB.
• Ensure HA/DR readiness and backups for critical systems.
• Support public and private cloud deployments and automation efforts.
