Job summary

Emerson is seeking a Senior Application Developer with strong Salesforce platform expertise to design and build enterprise-grade CRM and customer-facing solutions. You will deliver across the Salesforce platform (Visualforce, Apex, Flows, SOQL) while leveraging Oracle Database and JavaScript/REST integrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of software development experience with proven hands-on delivery on the Salesforce platform.
• Proficiency in Visualforce page development, Apex (classes, triggers, batch), declarative Flows, and SOQL.
• Working knowledge of Oracle Database, SQL, and PL/SQL basics, including queries, stored procedures, and data integration patterns connecting Oracle DB to Salesforce or REST API layers.
• Experience consuming and producing REST APIs, along with JavaScript for front-end logic within Salesforce pages and integrations.
• Hands-on experience configuring or developing Salesforce Service Cloud features, including Case Management workflows, Knowledge Article structures, entitlement processes, or self-service portal components.
• Familiarity with Agile, CI/CD practices, Azure DevOps or similar pipelines, sprint-based delivery and version control, and strong English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Salesforce applications, including Visualforce pages, Apex classes and triggers, Salesforce Flows, and SOQL-driven data logic.
• Develop and maintain REST API integrations between Salesforce and Oracle Database backends.
• Write optimized SOQL and Oracle SQL/PL-SQL queries to support reporting and data integration across platforms.
• Design Knowledge Article structures and Case Management configurations to improve support workflows.
• Apply the SDLC to deliver high-quality solutions from requirements analysis through testing and deployment.
• Troubleshoot production issues across Salesforce and Oracle DB layers and implement fixes.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Analysts, and QA to translate business requirements into Salesforce solutions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and integration maps.
