Job summary

Illumina is seeking a seasoned Programmer Analyst to turn solution designs into production Salesforce code, including Apex, LWC, and Flow implementations. You will leverage AI-assisted coding while owning correctness, security, and quality.

You will collaborate with Solution Architects and TAEs to deliver scalable integrations, data models, and UI components that power Illumina’s commercial and service teams, under strict governance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years hands-on Salesforce development experience (Apex, LWC, Flows, and platform configuration).
• Strong understanding of governor limits, bulkification, and security best practices.
• Experience with Salesforce integrations (REST/SOAP) and data modeling.

Responsibilities

• Write production-quality Apex code and build Lightning Web Components (LWC).
• Implement integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, and data synchronization.
• Follow team architectural patterns, SDLC processes, and code review practices.
• Design and build Flows (record-triggered, screen, auto-launched).
• Ensure security via CRUD/FLS, SOQL injection prevention, and proper data access controls.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects and Technical Architects to deliver features.
• Support deployments through CI/CD pipelines and sandbox management.
• Write comprehensive unit tests with good coverage and maintainability.
